Payment
Full payment of registration fees must be received prior to the WA Nursing and Midwifery Excellence Awards. Unpaid attendees will be refused entry into the events, so please ensure that your fees are paid prior to your arrival at the Awards.
Cancellations & Refunds
All requests for registration refunds must be made in writing. For cancellations made prior to 11th April 2024, a full refund will be offered. Refunds will NOT be processed for cancellations after 11th April 2024, however substitute attendees are acceptable.
Registration Changes
Please note dietary requirements are finalised 7 days prior to the event. Any dietary requests and/or changes after requirements have been submitted will unfortunately not be considered (i.e., any name changes received after the submission date will receive the meal requirements of the original attendee).
Please take note of the venue’s terms and conditions, in relation to dietary requirements:
• no certified Halal is offered
• while all efforts are made to offer the correct food as per request, they will not 100% guarantee the presence of the allergen is nil due to the kitchen arrangement.
• No ability to change the meals on the night will be offered.
Seating Requests
All seating requests must be noted in the “Seating Requirements” section upon registration. Any changes must be communicated to wanmea@eventandconferenceco.com.au, by Wednesday 1st May, 2024. There are a few factors we take into consideration when table planning, including the Department’s guidelines. We will consider your request. However, we cannot guarantee fulfilment. Unfortunately, we are unable to guarantee fulfillment of requests for tables from the same organisation or another organisation to be seated next to each other.
Transferability of Registration
Should you be unable to attend any part of the 2024 WA Nursing and Midwifery Excellence Awards it is permissible to transfer your registration to another person. To do so, please login to your registration and update details. If you have any issues please contact wanmea@eventandconferenceco.com.au.
Conditions
Participation in 2024 WA Nursing and Midwifery Excellence Awards is at the sole discretion of the WA Nursing and Midwifery Excellence Awards organisers and is subject to conditions laid down by the organisers. The organisers reserve the right to refuse entry and this can occur without notice.
Condition of Entry
This is an 18+ event. Minors cannot be accommodated due to the service of alcohol.
It is a condition of entry to 2024 WA Nursing and Midwifery Excellence Awards that you may be photographed at the event, and that your image may be used on promotional material for future events.
Code of Conduct
All participants, including nominees, judges, organisers, and attendees, are expected to treat each other with respect and courtesy. Aggressive or disrespectful conduct will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
The organisers reserve the right to take appropriate action in response to any violations, including but not limited to ejection from event.
Disclaimer
Participation is acknowledgement that no blame, liability or responsibility can be attributed to the WA Nursing and Midwifery Excellence Awards organisers, its staff or agents for any loss, damage or injury resulting from failure to carry out any undertakings or provision, or from substitution of any undertaking or provision.
FORCE MAJEURE
WA Nursing and Midwifery Excellence Awards organisers shall not be liable for any loss caused by the cancellation of the event where such cancellation is due to Force Majeure. The organisers will use all reasonable efforts to conduct the event despite the intervention or occurrence of any such cause.
In this clause, Force Majeure means circumstances which are beyond the reasonable control of WA Nursing and Midwifery Excellence Awards organisers and which are reasonably likely to affect WA Nursing and Midwifery Excellence Awards organisers’ successful delivery of the Event or would make it inadvisable, impracticable, illegal, or impossible for a party to perform its obligations as originally contracted under this Agreement, including: fire, flood, earthquake, extreme adverse weather conditions, failure of electric power, gas, water, or other utility service, collapse of building structures, widespread disease or other public health emergency (including pandemic or epidemic), strike or other industrial action, the outbreak or declaration of war, act of terrorism, revolution or government orders or action (including the declaration of a State of Emergency).
Without prejudice to its obligations WA Nursing and Midwifery Excellence Awards organisers accepts no liability and will not be liable for any compensation where the performance of its obligations under this Agreement is affected by Force Majeure.

Personal information is collected by us. We collect personal information from you through the use of enquiry and registration forms and every time you e-mail us your details.
We also collect information automatically about your visit to our site. The information obtained in this way, which includes demographic data and browsing patterns, is only used in aggregate form.

We process personal information collected via the site for the purposes of:
• providing a personalised service
• conducting market research surveys
• running competitions
• providing you with information about products and services offered by us and;
• providing you with information about products and services offered by carefully selected third party companies
