Biography
Christine Edwards-Groves is Professor of Education, Griffith University. Christine is an experienced literacy educator and researcher who researches literacy practices, dialogic pedagogies and middle leadership. Christine is currently interested how metatalk and student-initiated talk form a critical feature of generating a dialogic sensibility. Her recent co-authored publications include "Becoming a meaning making: Talk and Interaction in the dialogic classroom" (2017); "Transition and continuity in school literacy development" (2021); "Dialogic pedagogies" (2021); "The Importance of Metatalk for Establishing Dialogue in the First Years of Schooling" (2025); "The Dialogic Classroom: International research on dialogue, pedagogy and change" (2025).
