Julie Shepherd is an educational consultant and Literacy coach who has worked extensively around Australia and overseas.She has a particular interest in Spelling and travelled to France in 2016 to participate in a residential on Orthography with a retired Cambridge professor. She has a long involvement in ALEA as a member, local council president, participant at conferences and professional learning events; Victorian State Director, Treasurer and is the current National Vice President . In 2023 Julie returned to the classroom and loved it so much, she is returning for her fourth year. She is excited about children’s learning of orthography.
