Biography
Therese Manning has more than 30 years of experience in human health and ecological risk assessment with the NSW EPA and as a consultant with enRiskS. She has also been involved in developing guidance documents and providing training in environmental chemistry, toxicology and risk assessment. She has extensive experience in developing water quality guidelines and in PFAS risk assessment. She is a fellow of the Australasian College of Toxicology and Risk Assessment (ACTRA).

Biography
Dr Bill Richmond is the Principal Environmental Officer with Contaminated Sites at the Department of Water and Environmental Regulation (DWER). Bill has worked in contaminated sites regulation for 15 years, following on from two decades of research and tertiary teaching in chemistry and materials science. As WA’s representative on the Heads of EPAs Australia and New Zealand’s (HEPA’s) National Chemicals Working Group, Bill has directly contributed to the development of the PFAS National Environmental Management Plan. Bill provides expert advice and guidance on the assessment and management of PFAS contamination both within government and to external stakeholders.
