Our partnership with asla

The Australian Literacy Educators’ Association (ALEA) and the Australian School Library Association (ASLA) share a longstanding commitment to literacy, learning, and equitable access to knowledge. While the 2026 ALEA National Conference remains a core ALEA event, we are intentionally shaping a conference theme that highlights the essential role of school libraries and librarians in literacy education. We expect many classroom educators, school leaders, school librarians, and researchers to attend.
